Right Start Kitten BASIC Program

$480 or $40 per month

Here are all the things you get with our Right Start BASIC Kitten Program:

  • Early detection of potential physical problems through examinations every 3 weeks of your kitten's development.  Most problems are easier and cheaper to treat, and give better outcomes, if found early.

  • Behavioral assessments every 3 weeks during the exam to ensure your kitten is developing into a happy, confident, well-adjusted cat.  Problems such as fearfulness can be address before they have serious negative consequences on your kitten's quality of life.

  • Nutritional assessments every 3 weeks during the exam to ensure the optimal diet for your kitten's age.

  • Positive reinforcement training tips to help your kitten learn appropriate play, litter box use, and to prevent common problems such as scratching furniture.

  • Prevention of panleukopenia, a highly contagious serious to fatal disease that is extremely common in this area.  Treatment involves hospitalization, IV fluid, medication to stop vomiting, IV antibiotics, around the clock nursing care, assisted feedings, and more at a cost of thousands of dollars.

  • Prevention of calicivurus and herpesvirus (viral rhinotracheitis), both of which are highly contagious respiratory infections in kittens.  These viruses cause serious nasal congestion, eye ulcers, and sometimes mouth ulceration.  Treatment involves hospitalization for IV fluids, assisted feedings, around the clock nursing care, and IV antibiotics.  Kittens infected with these viruses are never 100% cured; the symptoms can return at any time, resulting in life-time care and expense.

  • Prevention of hookworms which can cause bloody diarrhea, failure to gain weight, and anemia.  Hookworms can also infect your human family members.  If not treated, hospitalization for hookworm anemia can easily cost $1000 for blood transfusions.

  • Prevention of roundworms which can cause diarrhea, failure to gain weight, and even intestinal blockages which can require emergency surgery at a cost of $2500 or more.  Roundworms can also infect your human family members and cause serious disease.

  • Prevention of rabies, a 100% fatal disease in dogs and cats and humans.  If your unvaccinated kitten is bitten by an unvaccinated animal, it will have to be quarantined at the pound for 10 days to make sure it doesn't develop signs of rabies.  If your unvaccinated kitten bites a person, the person can demand that your kitten is tested for rabies.  The only way to do that is to send your kitten's head to the lab for brain testing.  Obviously that is not a survivable test.

  • Prevention of feline leukemia, a virus that causes severe immunosuppression and cancer, killing most cats by the time they are 4 years of age.

  • The microchip will make it so much easier to claim your kitten should he get lost or stolen.  It makes it much more difficult for anyone to dispute ownership, which can save you court costs if needed.

  • All house call fees are included for your convenient home veterinary care.

  • All vaccinations are from the Purevax line, without cancer-causing adjuvants.

  • Fear Free Certified veterinarian and technician ensures your kitten enjoys his vet care.

  • Your pet's personal care team is always available for questions and concerns via email, text, or phone.  You talk directly to the people who treat your kitten!

Total Value to prevent serious to fatal disease, nutritional problems, and behavioral issues in your kitten is over $10,000
